Role and Responsibilities

The Inventory Control Auditor works in all buildings to ensure stores product is processed accurately, timely and efficiently to meet level of service goals, ensure all company assets are accounted for and established processes for controlling company merchandise and assets are followed.  The Inventory Control Auditor reports to the Supervisor of the designated area.  Roles and responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  •  Complete the daily operations with a specific area to include, but not limited to:
    •  Daily Processing Carton Audits.
    •  Daily Processing Ticket Audits.
    •  As needed monitor, research and resolve inventory overages in Penalty Area.
    •  Follow department Standard Operating Procedures for all audits and research.
    •  Communicate effectively both orally and written.
    •  Respond and resolve operations needs/inquiries involving IC issues.
    •  Pack to Light problem tote resolution.
    •  Log and record all cycle counts, errors and audits completed.
    •  Basic working knowledge of computer systems and software (Excel/Word).
    •  Compile and maintain all paperwork associated with research and/or sku adjustments.  
  •  Meets daily production goals.
  •  Communicates with Supervisor / Department Manager on performance to plan throughout the shift.
  • Makes adjustments based on performance to expectation.
  • Execute plans to support company’s business planned growth.
  •  Meets or exceeds performance to include, but not limited to:
    • Safety / Quality / Job Knowledge / Production / Attendance
  • Maintains and strengthens internal/external customer – supplier relationships.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships at all levels:
    • Peers within operations.
    • Human Resources
    • Supervisors
    • Department Managers
    • Assets Protection
  • Communicates with Supervisor / Department Manager on any business concerns and/or employee relations issues.
  • Responsible for completion of projects / tasks as assigned by Leadership.
  • Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.
