Position Summary:

Works as part of the Marketing team to execute content, social media and store marketing strategies for a rapidly evolving environment.

Primary Responsibilites:

Content Creation

  • Translate brand tenets and corporate strategies into compelling and engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, email, web, and select print channels
  • Ensure consistent brand voice across all media channels
  • Build relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to develop relevant, engaging content
  • Interpret and report on metrics related to content performance and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Innovate and experiment with new forms of messaging and distribution in collaboration with creative and other marketing team members
  • Manage calendars, timelines and scope to ensure that all content is delivered on schedule

Social Media - Paid & Organic

  • Develop and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with brand marketing strategies in partnership with greater marketing team and external agency
  • Develop and execute annual social media content calendar
    • Create interesting and engaging content, including copy, photography and video when applicable
    • Input and schedule posts across platforms
    • Provide direction to creative team for social post assets, as needed
  • Partner with external agency to develop and execute monthly influencer programs
  • Community management
    • Be the voice and personality of the brand across all social platforms, including, but not limited to:  Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube
    • Work with the internal Customer Service department to address issues in a timely manner (includes some weekend monitoring)
    • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
    • Find and engage with fans who coment on the brand on their own pages
  • Use measurement tools to report on metrics and recommend ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
  • Store marketing
    • Support the execution of individual store marketing initiatives, including maintaining tracking documents and preparation of store shipments
    • Field requests for local marketing opportunities
    • Help develop and execute marketing tests at the store level


  • Traffic creative assets, including emails, for approval
  • Other duties assigned to support marketing efforts within the organization


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of native social media platforms:  Facebook and Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube
  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager
  • Knowledge of enterprise social media management tools (Sprinklr, Spredfast)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor\u0027s degree or equivalent exprience in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Communications
  • 3+ years of relevant social media management experience, preferably in retail
