Corporate Recruiting Manager

We are currently seeking a Corporate Recruiting Manager to join our corporate office team. This key individual will be responsible for meeting our talent objectives by; owning the full-cycle recruiting for Corporate and Supply Chain open requisitions from the initial conversation to hire, continually building a talent pipeline, and providing quality candidates in a timely manner. The Corporate Recruiting Manager is operational, creative, strategic, and able to build strong working relationships with all key partners. 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Full cycle recruiting - Manage the talent acquisition process from start to finish, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening, assisting in interview set-up, reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation, offer extension, pre-employment background screenings, new hire notifications and assisting with onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to evaluate and clarify talent needs to establish a firm understanding of position descriptions, candidate profiles and required timeframes; stay abreast of future hiring needs
  • Develop, implement and evaluate innovative, proactive and responsive sourcing strategies to attract high quality candidates; pursue passive candidates via identified sources
  • Evaluate all resumes received and select candidates who are appropriate to enter into the interview process
  • Effectively screen and interview potential candidates for functional compliance, applicable background, relevant skills, individual goals and overall fit within the company
  • Ensure both regular and timely communication with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status
  • Assist hiring managers in selection decision; initiate and drive job offer process and secure acceptance
  • Manage the employment application process to include applicant tracking, thorough background and reference screening, etc.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of high caliber talent
  • Represent the company at various job fairs, conferences and universities
  • Research and stay abreast of recruiting trends, candidate sourcing including social media, best practices
  • Centrally manage contractor and temporary labor requests
  • Initiate activate and de-activate processes for new hires and terminations

Desired skills and abilities:

  • Strong background in developing and executing effective sourcing strategies
  • Recruiting experience using various sourcing tools/techniques
  • Responsive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Extremely perceptive and outgoing person, who is capable of professionally relating to individuals at all levels and from all backgrounds
  • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering projected results
  • Extremely organized and communicative. Ability to speak confidently about the company\u0027s business model and strategic vision
  • High degree of initiative and independent execution. Capable of thriving as a team player but is also driven by autonomy
  • Strong understanding of direct sourcing and effective interviewing techniques
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Supervisory experience:

  • Position will directly supervise corporate recruiting coordinator

Education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Previous experience in retail preferred
