Human Resources Business Partner

*This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the state of Florida*

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team where this key individual will be a key team member of the Regional Team providing counsel and human resource related services and programs to Store Managers, District Managers, and the Regional Vice President. 


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Partner on investigations and review to ensure complaints and other employment-related actions are resolved and with Company policies and procedures. 
  • Investigates and resolves ethics issues, manages unemployment & EEO cases and supports litigation cases as assigned.
  • Coaches and counsels associates at all leadership levels within the region on the implementation and operation of human resources-related programs, and whenever appropriate, disseminates new HR management techniques and approaches.
  • Facilitates exit and stay interviews to identify ways to engage store teams and reduce attrition.
  • Reviews and analyzes reports for the districts, region, and company to find commonalities that will identify gaps and make recommendations on how to address and implement the plans
  • Ensures compliance with Company policy, procedures and employment laws; takes appropriate action in the dual role of associate advocate and leadership coach. Manages the administration of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and corporate objectives.
  • Partners with Regional leadership team on talent assessments, development, succession planning and all performance management activities.
  • Works with other departments involved in the development, implementation, and execution of human resources-related programs, processes and policies.
  • Coordinates with the Region leadership team as appropriate to ensure assigned programs, plans, strategies, and activities are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Monitors and stays current with associates on LOA and W/C. Facilitates the Interactive dialogues as appropriate to return associates to work.
  • Trains new Store Managers and District Managers on all HR processes & policies
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure quality hires at all Store Manager and FT ASM positions.
  • Identifies and initiates projects as needed to implement human resource plans that will help to improve the business operations.
  • Establishes or helps to develop human resource standards, controls and measurements for operations team use.
  • Works to keep abreast of current industry practices

 Qualified candidates will possess:

  • College degree preferred in business management or human resources related discipline
  • A minimum of 7 years with multi-state, multi-store responsibility
  • Excellent knowledge of the assigned human resources discipline, strong project management, analytical and conceptual skills, strong leadership, written and verbal communications, and interpersonal skills
  • SPHR or PHR Certification highly desirable
