Job Description

Marketing Analyst

Work as part of the Marketing team to drive campaign analysis, key reporting and support data-driven insight for a rapidly evolving environment.                        

Primary Responsibilities:                               

Analytical

  • Work with external database company to define targeted customer selection for all ad campaigns
  • Conduct analysis of marketing campaigns, media efforts, and testing efforts
  • Generate weekly marketing KPI reporting across ad campaigns, web, social, email and customer database
  • Support Ad planning and turn-in meetings with a recap of financial metrics for items submitted for ad
  • Deliver various ad-hoc reporting as requested

Financial

  • Primary steward of the marketing budget
  • Receive, Code and Submit invoices to Accounts Payable to track marketing spend
  • Partner with marketing team, accounts payable and vendors to resolve missing or unpaid invoices
  • Forecast variances to budget and prepare monthly accruals

 Other

  • Other duties assigned to support marketing efforts within the organization

 Qualifications:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • MS Access experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products including Word & PowerPoint
  • Familiarity of Google products including Google Mail, Sheets, and Drive
  • Knowledge of various reporting tools a plus

 Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Math, Finance, Accounting or Business preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant marketing analysis experience
  • Retail experience a plus

  • N/A

  • Self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and timeliness
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Smart Sheet knowledge a plus

 Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Sits at desk; uses computers, copiers, phone, and other office equipment
