Marketing Coordinator

This position supports Marketing Operations by coordinating projects for internal and external customers.  He / she will be detail-oriented and have the ability to effectively multi-task, efficiently manage his / her time and projects, be articulate, creative, diplomatic, and professional.

Organizational Relationship:

This position works with the marketing, mailroom, merchants, allocation, planning, store operations, and procurement teams.

Supervised by:

Director, Marketing Operations

Specific Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all internal print jobs and operations of print room, including supply orders
  • Prints, cuts, and packs/distributes signs and other in-store materials for store mailings
  • Responsible for overseeing all store mail contents & scheduling
  • Assists with sourcing, scheduling and managing production with outside vendors as requested
  • Writes and edits instructions to stores, including ad instructions and how-to installation instructions for POS materials
  • Provides images of store signs, communication vehicles, and POS materials to store operations for communication
  • Provide final proofread of all print and electronic marketing tools
  • Maintains a library of internal sign collateral (physical and electronic)
  • Maintains a library of competitor marketing sign & POS collateral
  • Edits and maintains store lists supporting signage programs as needed, including fixture lists, store hours or operation and more
  • Attends and takes notes during sample turn in meetings
  • Works with photographer for images of samples for use in-store communication
  • Assists Operations Director with the scheduling, coordination, and communication of ongoing & special projects
  • Liaison between marketing team, merchants, planning, allocation, and procurement team.  
  • Responsible for distribution of all incoming marketing mail

Skills Required:

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Retail experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Writer/Reader and Adobe Creative Suite.  Ability to adapt to and learn new applications and technologies as required.
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices, branding, direct mail and marketing collateral production
  • Strong organizational, office and business skills
