Stock Plans Manager

Tuesday Morning has a small, well-documented domestic equity compensation program that is looking for a detail-oriented individual to own the management of the stock plan administration processes.  The corporate Stock Plans Manager will manage all stock plan administrative activity for Tuesday Morning’s stock equity program.

Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Administering all aspects of the equity programs, including maintenance of data (e.g., new hires, terminations, etc.) in the equity system, and ensuring all participant equity plan transactions (grants, exercises, releases, forfeitures, etc.) are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner. Will work closely with internal departments and third-party consultants to address any issues or changes to the equity plans and related administration processes.
  • Acting as a resource to participants and internal and external business partners providing them with complete and accurate stock plan administration information. Works closely with Finance, Tax, Legal and Payroll for accurate reporting.
  • Performing routine audits to ensure that all data (grants, exercises, releases, forfeitures, etc.) have been processed timely and correctly. Adheres to all SOX and other established controls, reviewing and updating controls as needed. Reconciles shares related to stock plan transactions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis with Finance, the transfer agent and brokers, including audit of plan reserve balances.
  • Representing the equity program(s) in all communications with external vendor partners and internal partners in other departments, Board members and eligible participants, answering questions and proactively leading communication efforts for equity programs.
  • Providing table values, footnotes and other related data to assist in the preparation of required SEC filings including the Proxy.
  • Provide Finance monthly stock compensation expense as well as budget and forecasting compensation expense as needed.
  • Be responsible for data accuracy and reporting of all proxy disclosures and SEC filings.
  • Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and departmental pay program projects as needed.


Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Law or related discipline
  • 3-5+ years’ experience of increasing responsibility in Stock Plan Administration
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general Word
  • Knowledge of BI reporting, a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
